A deficiency of Vitamin B-1 can appear as loss of appetite and general weakness and overall loss of energy as well as mental impairment and muscle wasting. Also shown to have a calming effect. Thiamine is highly vulnerable to heat generated in feed processing, supplementation is recommended.
